Eupora had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 16-run drubbing they dealt J.Z. George on Tuesday. The Eagles never let the Jaguars get on the board and left with a 16-0 win. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 games by six runs or more this season.

Eupora's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-5. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.3 runs over those games. As for J.Z. George, they moved to 7-15 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Eupora beat the Jaguars by a score of 17-0 later that day.
