Softball Game Preview: Chenango Forks Blue Devils vs. Windsor Central Black Knights

The Chenango Forks Blue Devils will venture away from home to challenge the Windsor Central Black Knights at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Chenango Forks is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak dating back to last season.

Chenango Forks lost 14-4 to Owego Free Academy on Tuesday. That's two games in a row now that the Blue Devils have lost by exactly ten runs.

Meanwhile, Windsor Central came into Wednesday's matchup having lost five straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They walked away with a 7-4 victory over Oneonta on Wednesday.

The team relied heavily on Ashlee Hagerman, who went 1-for-2 with one home run and two RBI. Those two RBI gave her a new career-high. Paige Cauiola also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

Chenango Forks' loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Windsor Central, their record now sits at 4-8.
