Basketball Recap: Eureka Springs Takes a Loss

Eureka Springs was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They lost 38-14 to the Ozark Catholic Academy Griffins. The Highlanders were not able to make up for their loss to the Griffins from their previous meeting back in January.

Eureka Springs' defeat dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Ozark Catholic Academy, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-8.

Eureka Springs will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Alpena at 6:00 p.m. on January 10, 2025. Ozark Catholic Academy will also get a bit of a break before their next game: they'll face off against St. Joseph at 2:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
