Volleyball Game Preview: Syracuse Titans vs. Farmington Phoenix

The Syracuse Titans will take on the Farmington Phoenix at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Syracuse is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Copper Hills, sneaking past 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Titans have posted since March 13th.

Ian Sprague was the offensive standout of the contest as he had ten digs and three aces. What's more, he posted two assists, the most he's had over his last six games. Zane Nanney also deserves some recognition as he had his first kill of the season.

Meanwhile, Farmington earned a 2-0 win over American Fork on Friday.

Farmington has been performing well recently as they've won 14 of their last 18 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-8 record this season. As for Syracuse, their victory bumped their record up to 21-7.

Syracuse came up short against Farmington in their previous matchup last Thursday, falling 3-1. Can the Titans avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
