It's playoff time, and Hartselle had no trouble coming through when it counted. They were the clear victors by a 33-7 margin over the Buckhorn Bucks on Friday. The Tigers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matchups by 24 points or more this season.

Hartselle's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jaheim Pruitt, who rushed for 75 yards and one score, and also caught one touchdown. Jayden Morris was in the mix as well, providing the Tigers with two TDs.

Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Hartselle proved: they limited Buckhorn to a paltry -2.7 yards per carry. The Tigers' ground attack was stronger, having averaged 3.1.

The victory made it two in a row for Hartselle and bumps their season record up to 10-1. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 7 points in those games. As for Buckhorn, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-4.

Hartselle wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 31-24 loss against Homewood on the 14th. Buckhorn does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
