Cross Lanes Christian's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They put the hurt on the Hannan Wildcats with a sharp 12-1 victory. Considering the Warriors have won three contests by more than nine runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Mary Franke was incredible, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 4-for-5. Another player making a difference was Jordan Ellison, who scored two runs while going 3-for-3.

Cross Lanes Christian always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .650. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

The win was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 5-3. As for Hannan, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-5-1.

Looking ahead, Cross Lanes Christian will look to defend their home field on Saturday against Midland Trail at 12:00 p.m. As for Hannan, they will venture away from home to challenge Elk Valley Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
