Volleyball Game Preview: West Field Longhorns vs. Mountain Crest Mustangs

After both having extra time off, the West Field Longhorns and the Mountain Crest Mustangs will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Mountain Crest took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on West Field, who comes in off a win.

Last Friday, West Field got the win against Bear River by a conclusive 3-0.

West Field was especially dominant in the third set. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-21, 25-12.

Meanwhile, Mountain Crest was not able to break out of their rough patch last Friday as the team picked up their 17th straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 3-1 to Green Canyon.

The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-15, 16-25, 25-18.

Mountain Crest's defeat dropped their record down to 0-10. As for West Field, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-10.

West Field took their victory against Mountain Crest in their previous matchup back in March by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Longhorns since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
