Interboro waltzed into their contest on Thursday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Academy Park Knights a 16-0 shutout. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 20-0 last Tuesday.

The team relied heavily on Izzy Lagasca, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. Abree McVeigh was another key player, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with three runs.

Interboro always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of 1.636. They are a perfect 8-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

Interboro's win bumped their record up to 9-4. As for Academy Park, their loss dropped their record down to 0-6.
