Volleyball Recap: Madera Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Madera was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Edison Tigers, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in September.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-15, 25-12.

Madera's offense was headlined by Destinee Avila and Mia Carlson, who picked up five kills apiece. They got some help from Bella Haynes and her nine assists.

Madera's loss dropped their record down to 6-25. As for Edison, their victory ended a four-match drought on the road and puts them at 16-17.

Madera has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Hoover on the 16th. As for Edison, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-2 loss against Sanger West on the 16th.
