Losada is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season.
Meanwhile, Atlanta Girls' School entered their tilt with Furtah Prep with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Atlanta Girls' School secured a 36-30 W over Furtah Prep on Friday.
Atlanta Girls' School's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Libby Knott, who scored 24 points along with three steals. The contest was Knott's eighth in a row with at least ten points. Jade Williams was another key contributor, scoring four points along with 17 rebounds.
Notre Dame Academy now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Atlanta Girls' School, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-3.
Thursday's matchup is shaping up to be a scrappy game: Notre Dame Academy have been smashing the glass this season, having only averaged 35.3 rebounds per game. It's a different story for Atlanta Girls' School, though, as they've been averaging only 27.2 rebounds per game. Given Notre Dame Academy's sizeable advantage in that area, Atlanta Girls' School will need to find a way to close that gap.
