Soccer Recap: Veritas Christian Academy Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Veritas Christian Academy can now relate to. They fell just short of the Gloucester County Christian Conquerors by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday. That's two games in a row now that Veritas Christian Academy have lost by just one goal.

Their goal came courtesy of Julia Lacopo, who's now up to three this season.

Veritas Christian Academy dropped their record down to 8-11-1 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home. The slump could be explained by some tough opposition over that stretch, namely Gloucester County Christian, they, and King's Christian. As for the Conquerors, their win bumped their record up to 10-6-2.

Veritas Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Gloucester County Christian, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against King's Christian on the 31st.
