Baseball Recap: Wheaton Academy Comes Up Short

After flying high against Lisle on Thursday, Wheaton Academy came back down to earth. The Warriors fell just short of the Bartlett Hawks by a score of 2-1 on Saturday.

Wheaton Academy saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brandon Kiebles, who went 2-for-4 with one RBI.

Wheaton Academy's loss dropped their record down to 16-14. As for Bartlett, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 15-13-1 record this season.

Wheaton Academy will look to defend their home field on Monday against Yorkville Christian at 4:30 p.m. As for Bartlett, they will head out on the road to take on Ridgewood at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
