Soccer Game Preview: Windsor vs. Southampton

The Windsor Dukes are taking a road trip to challenge the Southampton Indians at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.

Windsor is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Nandua just ended the team's three-match winning streak on Thursday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Warriors. Having soared to a lofty five goals in the game before, Windsor couldn't push the score so high this time.

Meanwhile, Southampton had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5 goals) and they went ahead and made it five on Thursday. They came out on top against the Chargers by a score of 4-2. Southampton's winning goal came courtesy of Aidan Miller.

Southampton's victory bumped their record up to 7-3-2. As for Windsor, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-3.

Windsor got the 'W' in their previous meeting back in March against Southampton by a conclusive 5-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Dukes since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
