Basketball Recap: Jamie Reich Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Pine Bush

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Green Tech, Monroe-Woodbury was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They walked away with a 60-50 victory over the Pine Bush Bushmen. The Crusaders haven't had any issues with the Bushmen recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Monroe-Woodbury's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jamie Reich, who posted 25 points. The dominant performance gave Reich a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Fabrice Ndja, who almost dropped a double-double with 16 points and nine boards.

Monroe-Woodbury's victory bumped their record up to 10-7. As for Pine Bush, they now have a losing record of 8-9.

Monroe-Woodbury didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 51-48 defeat against Valley Central on the 14th. As for Pine Bush, they have also already played their next game, a 69-45 loss against Burke Catholic on the 13th.
