Soccer Game Preview: Forney vs. Longview

The Forney Jackrabbits are taking a road trip to challenge the Longview Lobos at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Forney will be looking to extend their current 13-game winning streak.

Forney is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Texas' top teams: Rockwall-Heath, who was ranked 19th at the time (Forney was ranked fourth). The Jackrabbits skirted past the Hawks 3-2.

Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last contest, Longview made sure to put some goals up on the board against Royse City on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 6-0 margin over the Bulldogs. Considering Longview have won eight matchups by more than two goals this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Forney's record is now 21-1. As for Longview, their record now sits at 15-3.

Forney was able to grind out a solid win over Longview in their previous matchup on February 6th, winning 2-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Jackrabbits since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
