Soccer Game Preview: Alva vs. Kingfisher + Official Tickets

Alva is 0-9 against Kingfisher since April of 2017 but things could change on Tuesday. The Goldbugs are taking a road trip to challenge the Yellowjackets at 7:00 p.m. Alva has given up an average of 9.8 goals per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Friday just wasn't the day for Alva's offense. They lost 11-0 to Mount St. Mary on Friday.

Meanwhile, Kingfisher entered their tilt with McLoud on Thursday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over the Redskins. Kingfisher might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four contests by three goals or more this season.

Alva's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Kingfisher, their victory bumped their record up to 7-5.

Alva might still be hurting after the 10-0 defeat they got from Kingfisher when the teams last played back in May of 2025. Can the Goldbugs avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
