Baseball Recap: Red Springs Comes Up Short

Red Springs came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the South Brunswick Cougars, falling 12-0. The matchup marked the first time this year in which the Red Devils were not able to get on the board.

Red Springs' loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-3. As for South Brunswick, their victory bumped their record up to 5-3.

Looking ahead, South Brunswick will be playing at home against North Brunswick at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Red Springs will be paying especially close attention to the Cougars' contest: after the Cougars face off against the Scorpions, they'll take on Red Springs again at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
