Volleyball Recap: Texas City Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Texas City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the Angleton Wildcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 on September 5th.

Angleton can attribute much of their success to Aaliyah Cisneros, who had 12 digs and one assist. Those 12 digs gave Cisneros a new career-high.

Texas City's defeat dropped their record down to 9-16. As for Angleton, they moved to 14-11 with that victory, which also ended their four-match losing streak.

Texas City has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 loss against Iowa Colony on the 3rd. As for Angleton, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 win against Ball on the 3rd.
