Volleyball Recap: Texas City Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Texas City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Angleton Wildcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 on September 5th.

Texas City's loss dropped their record down to 9-16. As for Angleton, they moved to 14-11 with that victory, which also ended their four-match losing streak.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Texas City will challenge rival Iowa Colony at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Angleton is set to square off against their familiar foe Ball at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
