Baseball Recap: Thunderbird Takes a Loss

The home team had come away the winner the last four times Thunderbird and Deer Valley had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Titans lost 16-1 to the Skyhawks on Tuesday. The Titans were not able to make up for their loss to the Skyhawks from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Thunderbird saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hunter Donathan, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Thunderbird's defeat dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Deer Valley, they pushed their record up to 9-8-1 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Thunderbird wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 6-3 victory against Goldwater on the 2nd. As for Deer Valley, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 win against Estrella Foothills on the 2nd.
