Basketball Recap: North Forrest Takes a Loss

North Forrest lost against Heidelberg on January 14th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The North Forrest Eagles were outmatched by the Heidelberg Oilers and fell 60-33. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Mississippi basketball rankings (they are ranked 275th, while the Oilers are ranked 136th).

North Forrest dropped their record down to 4-14 with the loss, which was their seventh straight on the road. As for Heidelberg, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 15-11 record this season.

North Forrest does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Heidelberg, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Collins at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
