Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask El Camino). They really took it to the Escondido Cougars for the full four quarters, racking up a 60-31 victory. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Cougars recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.
Ian Diaz went supernova, almost dropping a double-double with 20 points and nine rebounds. That's the most points he has posted since back in December of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordan Cajala, who shot 42% from the field en route to 12 points and seven steals.
El Camino was working as a unit and finished the game with 14 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.
