Pius XI Catholic has gone a perfect 3-0 against Greendale recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:30 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Wednesday, Pius XI Catholic made easy work of Waukesha South and carried off a 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Popes.

Pius XI Catholic never let Waukesha South on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-11, 25-19.

Meanwhile, Greendale beat Hmong American Peace Academy 3-1 on Thursday.

While Greendale might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Hmong American Peace Academy scored at least 20 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 23-25, 25-20, 25-22.

Pius XI Catholic's record now sits at 6-14. As for Greendale, their record is now 2-13.

Pius XI Catholic beat Greendale 3-1 in their previous meeting back in September of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Popes since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
