Softball Recap: Wheeling Park Comes Up Short

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Wheeling Park's offense. They fell 3-0 to the Morgantown Mohigans on Wednesday. The loss continues a trend for the Patriots in their meetings with the Mohigans: they've now lost three in a row.

Wheeling Park saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kylah Cunningham, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

Wheeling Park's defeat dropped their record down to 9-14. As for Morgantown, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-9 record this season.

Wheeling Park will take on Weir at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Morgantown, they will challenge North Marion at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
