The University Red Devils will venture away from home to face off against the St. Vincent de Paul Mustangs at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. University is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.5 runs per game this season.

University will head out to face St. Vincent de Paul after giving up their first home loss of the season on Saturday. University fell just short of Lowell by a score of 3-1. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Red Devils couldn't push the score so high this time.

University saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Owen Chee, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI. Alexander Coleman also deserves some recognition as he hit his first triple of the season.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for St. Vincent de Paul's offense. They came up short against Analy on Friday, falling 13-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Mustangs in their meetings with the Tigers: they've now lost six in a row.

Having lost for the first time this season, University fell to 5-1. As for St. Vincent de Paul, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

St. Vincent de Paul's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: University has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 12.3 hits per game. It's a different story for St. Vincent de Paul, though, as they've been averaging 9 hits. Given University's sizable advantage in that area, St. Vincent de Paul will need to find a way to close that gap.

University took their win against St. Vincent de Paul when the teams last played back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 12-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for University since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
