Tradon Bessinger Crosses Big Stat Threshold

Starting off the list is Davis's Tradon Bessinger, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Bessinger threw for 405 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 13.1 yards per attempt. The performance once again pushed his average passing yardage north of 300 yards per game (307.5). The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in rushing yards.

Davis' win was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-2. Bessinger and Davis will square off against Farmington at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Travis Hoopes Delivers Best Effort of Season

Farmington was led to victory by Travis Hoopes, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Hoopes rushed for 185 yards and a touchdown, and also picked up 47 receiving yards and a touchdown, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.

Farmington's victory ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-5. Hoopes and Farmington will square off against Davis at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Manase Tuatagaloa Dazzles in Fremont Victory

Manase Tuatagaloa's big game helped extend Fremont's winning streak to six on Friday. Tuatagaloa was unstoppable, throwing for 282 yards and three touchdowns while completing 74.2% of his passes, and also rushing for 39 yards and a touchdown.

Fremont's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-2. Tuatagaloa and Fremont have the luxury of staying home for another week and will welcome Weber at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Farmington Gets a Boost from Love in 41-28 Win

The second Farmington player making an appearance here is Drew Love, and for good reason. He rushed for 128 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 carries.

A Season-Best Performance from Bode Sparrow Leads Davis over Layton

On Friday, Davis got the W thanks in part to Bode Sparrow playing the best football he has all season. Sparrow picked up 146 receiving yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 22 yards and a touchdown.

This year, Sparrow has caught 11 touchdowns while averaging 77.6 receiving yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he had six receiving touchdowns.
