Basketball Recap: Buckeye Trail Comes Up Short

Buckeye Trail lost against Indian Valley back in February of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Buckeye Trail Warriors had to suffer through a 73-33 loss at the hands of the Indian Valley Braves. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 329th, while the Braves are ranked 106th).

Buckeye Trail's loss dropped their record down to 14-7. As for Indian Valley, the victory was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 18-4.

Looking ahead, Buckeye Trail will be taking part in a tournament against Toronto at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Indian Valley, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Indian Creek at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Indian Creek has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
