Baseball Game Preview: Berea-Midpark Titans vs. Olmsted Falls Bulldogs

The Berea-Midpark Titans will head out to square off against the Olmsted Falls Bulldogs at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.

On Thursday, Berea-Midpark came up short against Avon and fell 5-1.

The scorekeeper got an easy start on Friday as neither Olmsted Falls nor North Royalton made it on the board until the fifth inning. The Bulldogs skirted past the Bears 5-4. The win was some much needed relief for the Bulldogs as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak.

Evan Patrick was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one double. Those two runs gave him a new career-high. Jack Perkins also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Olmsted Falls' victory bumped their record up to 4-9-1. As for Berea-Midpark, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record this season.

Berea-Midpark beat Olmsted Falls 3-0 in their previous meeting on Wednesday. Do the Titans have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bulldogs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
