 The Asotin Panthers will head out on the road to  square off against  the Lind-Ritzville/Sprague/Washtucna Broncos at 12:00  p.m.  on Saturday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
 Lind-Ritzville/Sprague/Washtucna is hoping to do  on Saturday what Northwest Christian School couldn't  on Saturday: put an end to Asotin's winning streak, which now stands at four games. Asotin put the hurt on Northwest Christian School with a sharp  25-12 victory.
  Leilani Koehler was  incredible,  scoring four  runs and  stealing four bases while  getting on base  in five of her six plate appearances. Koehler is crushing it when it comes to  stolen bases: she's   stolen at least two every time she's  taken the field this season. The team also got some help courtesy of  Bella Dalosto, who  scored three  runs and  stole three bases while  getting on base  in two of her five plate appearances.
 Meanwhile, Lind-Ritzville/Sprague/Washtucna scored the most  runs they've had all season to find success  on Saturday. Everything went their way against Chewelah as Lind-Ritzville/Sprague/Washtucna made off with  a  33-5 win. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for Lind-Ritzville/Sprague/Washtucna.
 Asotin's victory was  their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 11-3. As for Lind-Ritzville/Sprague/Washtucna, their win bumped their record up to 7-3.
 Asotin came out on top in a nail-biter against Lind-Ritzville/Sprague/Washtucna  when the teams last played  back in April of 2023, sneaking past  10-8. The rematch might be a little tougher for Asotin since the  squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
