Baseball Recap: West Ridge's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

While West Ridge put up some runs on Thursday, the same can't be said for Chuckey-Doak. The Wolves were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over the Black Knights. Considering the Wolves' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

West Ridge moved to 6-14 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak. As for Chuckey-Doak, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-9.

Looking ahead, West Ridge will welcome Volunteer at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Wolves are facing the Falcons at the right time seeing as the Falcons are stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Chuckey-Doak, they will head out on the road to square off against Sullivan East at 1:00 p.m. on Friday.
