Football Recap: Saint James Drops Season-High Score on Talladega + How To Watch

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Handley, Saint James was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They took down the Talladega Tigers 31-14. The Trojans' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Grant Phillips was nothing short of spectacular: he rushed for 72 yards and two touchdowns on only five carries. Those two rushing touchdowns gave him a new career-high.

Saint James' first win this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Talladega, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Coming up, Saint James will square off against Trinity Presbyterian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Wildcats will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each matchup than the last. As for Talladega, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Munford at 7:00 p.m. on October 3.
