Volleyball Recap: Mehlville Comes Up Short

Mehlville lost against Parkway Central on Wednesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Panthers fell 2-0 to the Colts. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Karleigh Stover paced Mehlville's offense, picking up two kills. Stover also shared the team's lead in assists with Ellie Brobbel: they picked up three each.

Mehlville's loss dropped their record down to 7-14. As for Parkway Central, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 18-9 record this season.

Mehlville wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Troy-Buchanan on the 11th. As for Parkway Central, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 1-1 tie against Parkway West on the 11th.
