Volleyball Recap: Plano Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Plano was the 2-0 winner over Westmont when they last played one another back in October of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. The Reapers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Sentinels on Tuesday.

The final score came out to 25-14, 25-17.

Plano's offense was headlined by Elizabeth Hansel and Natalia Olson, who picked up two kills apiece. They got some help from Camila Nunez and her three assists. Olson was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Westmont's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Daylah Belmonte, who had eight digs and two aces. That's the most aces Belmonte has posted since back in October of 2024.

Plano's loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Plano has already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Woodstock North on the 27th. As for Westmont, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 loss against IC Catholic Prep on the 29th.
