Taylor DeSmith Game Report: @ Cahokia

Taylor DeSmith gave up the fewest hits she has since back in March of 2025 on Thursday. She was dialed in as she struck out eight batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). She was dominant the last time she took on Cahokia back in May of 2025, so they probably should've seen this coming. DeSmith continues to improve, besting her previous run total in each of the last three games she's played.

Looking ahead, DeSmith and Mt. Vernon will challenge Centralia at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Thanks in part to DeSmith's efforts, the Rams will roll in on a nine-game winning streak.
