Basketball Recap: GEO Next Generation Takes a Loss

If GEO Next Generation was feeling good fresh off their 56-31 takedown of Istrouma last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The GEO Next Generation Tigers fell 58-45 to the Northwest Raiders on Saturday.

GEO Next Generation's defeat dropped their record down to 16-7. As for Northwest, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-9.

GEO Next Generation and Northwest should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Louisiana Rankings. GEO Next Generation will challenge International at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday up 254 places (143 vs. 397). GEO Next Generation is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road. Similarly, Northwest (ranked 75th) will meet DeRidder (ranked 318th) at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
