Recap: Pinellas Park Patriots vs. Hernando Leopards
On Friday, Pinellas Park ended up a good deal behind Hernando and lost 63-49. Pinellas Park has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Hernando can attribute much of their success to Sam Jackson , who dropped a double-double on 22 points and 11 rebounds. Those 11 rebounds set a new season-high mark for him. Daniel Merizalde was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.
Pinellas Park's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Hernando, their win bumped their record up to 7-9.
Pinellas Park's road trip will continue as they head out to face Countryside at 12:00 p.m. on January 6th. Hernando and Nature Coast Tech will face off at 7:30 p.m. on January 10th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Hopefully Nature Coast Tech focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 11 last Friday.
