Softball Recap: Atlantic Collegiate Academy Comes Up Short

Atlantic Collegiate Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against Varsity Opponent, falling 16-5. The Armada were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Varsity Opponent apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.

Sophia Ioviero made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. She has been hot recently, having also posted at least one triple the last three times she's played. Lauren Wallace was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.

Atlantic Collegiate Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7.
