Volleyball Recap: Pittsburg Comes Up Short

Pittsburg lost against North Lamar back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Pirates lost 3-0 to the Panthers. The Pirates have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The final score came out to 25-12, 25-11, 25-17.

Lilly Stewart was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had 11 digs and two aces. She is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last four games she's played.

Pittsburg's defeat dropped their record down to 7-20. As for North Lamar, their win bumped their record up to 19-14.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Pittsburg is set to challenge their familiar foe Sulphur Springs at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, North Lamar will take on rival Paris at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
