Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Westminster couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They took a 65-55 hit to the loss column at the hands of the McDonough Warhawks on Wednesday. The Wildcats' loss signaled the end of their 11-game winning streak.

Zaiden Greene continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for McDonough, dropping a double-double with 20 points and ten rebounds. Another player making a difference was Jaelen Kerbo, who posted 11 points.

Westminster's defeat dropped their record down to 19-7. As for McDonough, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 25-5.
