Volleyball Recap: Highlands Christian Takes a Loss

Highlands Christian lost against David Posnack Jewish Day back in March of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Highlands Christian Knights fell just short of the David Posnack Jewish Day Rams by a score of 3-2. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Highlands Christian sadly wound up on the wrong side. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 15-25, 25-17, 23-25, 15-13.

Brandon Lee paced Highlands Christian's offense, picking up 14 kills. Lee got some help from Corbin Shein and his 40 assists. Finally, Joshua Esch kept Highlands Christian's defense grounded, leading the team with four blocks.

Highlands Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for David Posnack Jewish Day, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Highlands Christian is headed away from home for the first time to face off against North Broward Prep at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for David Posnack Jewish Day, they will challenge Pine Crest at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
