Soccer Recap: Washington Takes a Loss

Washington lost against Lowell back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Washington Eagles fell 2-0 to the Lowell Cardinals. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Eagles haven't been shut out since back in December of 2024.

Washington now has a losing record at 4-5-1. As for Lowell, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3-2 record this season.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing San Francisco International the next time they take the pitch. Lowell will host San Francisco International at 3:30 p.m. on January 30th, while Washington will head out to face them at 3:30 p.m. on February 4th.
