Spruce Creek is a perfect 10-0 against Deltona since April of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Hawks will host the Wolves at 6:00 p.m. Spruce Creek is coming into the contest hot, having won their last 11 games.
Spruce Creek is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They blew past Olympia 21-3 on Monday. Considering the Hawks have won 11 games by more than seven runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Peyson Garcia was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with one RBI.
In other batting news, Tyler Boyesen was incredible, going 3-for-5 with one home run, six RBI, and two runs. That's the most hits he has posted since back in February. Devon Crown was another key player, scoring two runs while getting on base in all five of his plate appearances.
Spruce Creek was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .542. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .304 or higher in seven consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, Deltona didn't have quite enough to beat Father Lopez on Wednesday and fell 9-8.
Deltona also got a good showing from Evan Grove, who tossed three innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits.
On the hitting side, Noah Lochiatto and Kenny Dozier did some serious damage despite the final result: Lochiatto scored a run while going 1-for-3, while Dozier scored a run while going 1-for-3. Another player making a difference was Yandiel Torres, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.
Spruce Creek pushed their record up to 21-2 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.0 runs over those games. As for Deltona, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-12.
Deltona's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Spruce Creek hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .316. It's a different story for Deltona, though, as they've only averaged .246. Will they be able to contain Spruce Creek's hitters?
Spruce Creek was able to grind out a solid win over Deltona when the teams last played back in March of 2024, winning 3-0. Do the Hawks have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Wolves turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
