Basketball Recap: Dylan Depp's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Penns Manor over Marion Center

Penns Manor lost against Marion Center back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Penns Manor Comets took a 66-55 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Marion Center Stingers.

Penns Manor's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Dylan Depp, who posted 11 points. Vinny Myers was another key player, putting up 18 points.

Leading Marion Center to victory were Ian Kutsch and Kamden Rozier. Kutsch dropped a double-double on 17 points and 11 rebounds, while Rozier went 9 of 19 on his way to 23 points and five boards. Those 11 rebounds gave Kutsch a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Noah Mccoy, who earned 13 points along with eight boards and four steals.

Penns Manor now has a losing record at 10-11. As for Marion Center, they pushed their record up to 9-11 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Penns Manor will take on North Star at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Marion Center, they will face off against Curwensville at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
