Volleyball Recap: Carver Gets the Win

Carver won the last time they faced Hyde Park and things went their way on Thursday too. The Challengers came out on top against the Thunderbirds by a score of 2-0.

Carver easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-7, 25-21.

Carver's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Hyde Park, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Carver will take on rival ACERO Garcia at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Hyde Park is set to square off against their familiar foe Tilden at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
