Coronado waltzed into their game on Saturday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Legacy Longhorns. That's more bragging rights for the Cougars, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

DEXTER BRIMHALL paced Coronado's offense, picking up five kills. BRIMHALL got some help from BRAXTON ROWLEY and his 19 assists. BRIMHALL was also solid from the service line: he led the team with five aces.

Coronado's win bumped their record up to 22-2. As for Legacy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-7.

Coronado has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Eldorado on the 5th. As for Legacy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Cimarron-Memorial on the 5th.
