DeSoto Central hasn't had much luck against Grenada recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The DeSoto Central Jaguars will square off against the Grenada Chargers at 7:00 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as DeSoto Central comes in on three and Grenada on four.

While DeSoto Central didn't have the best season last year (they finished 5-7), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. Everything went their way against Olive Branch on Friday as DeSoto Central made off with a 28-7 win. The Jaguars' offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the game anyway.

Meanwhile, Grenada's offense rose to the challenge against a Panthers defense that boasted an average of only 17.2 points allowed on Thursday. Grenada blew past Bartlett 34-10. The result was nothing new for the Chargers, who have now won four contests by 22 points or more so far this season.

DeSoto Central's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Grenada, their win bumped their record up to 5-1.
