Weimar waltzed into their matchup on Friday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Schulenburg Shorthorns. This was a revenge game for the Wildcats: when they faced off against the Shorthorns last Friday, they had to take a 2-0 loss.

Weimar had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 20-25, 25-19, 25-23.

Weimar now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Schulenburg, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-7.

Coming up, Weimar will challenge Columbus at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Schulenburg, they will head out to face off against Iola at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
