Glencoe won the last time they faced Etowah and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Yellowjackets came out on top against the Blue Devils by a score of 2-0.

Mia Talbot paced Glencoe's offense, picking up seven kills. Talbot got some help from Kinlee Montgomery and her 13 assists. Montgomery was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Glencoe's victory bumped their record up to 20-8. As for Etowah, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-7 record this season.

Glencoe has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Gadsden City on the 30th. As for Etowah, they will take on Collinsville at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
