Volleyball Game Preview: Triway Titans vs. Garfield G-Men

The Triway Titans are taking a road trip to square off against the Garfield G-Men at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Triway had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Fairview on Thursday. The Titans were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Warriors.

Triway never let Fairview on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-23, 25-17.

Meanwhile, Garfield made easy work of Beachwood on Thursday and carried off a 3-0 win.

Garfield's got stronger as the match went on, holding Beachwood to fewer and fewer points set over set. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 25-14, 25-10.

Garfield is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-5 record this season. As for Triway, their victory bumped their record up to 17-6.
