Softball Recap: North Vermilion's Winning Streak Snapped at Four Games

It was a good run, but North Vermilion unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 4-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the St. Thomas More Cougars. Having soared to a lofty 20 runs in the game before, the Patriots couldn't push the score so high this time.

North Vermilion's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5. As for St. Thomas More, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season.

North Vermilion will face off against David Thibodaux at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. David Thibodaux will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each game than the last. As for St. Thomas More, a feisty cat fight will be fought as St. Thomas More Cougars take on Hahnville Tigers at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
